Hi, I am Moda and today I am going to talk about my learning so far this term by telling you all the difficulties I had and how I pass them. Firstly to identify my learning style I did the VARK questionnaire and my result was kinaesthetic which means that I like to listen music while doing my exercises or so some quiz online rather than write on a paper. Secondly when I started my course it was hard because I didn’t know the accounting languages so I was struggled with the words and their meaning therefore I used to have difficulties doing some exercise but now I can work happily because I have learnt the accounting terms. To learn those words and their meaning I used to search them on the vocabulary and keep myself in training doing exercises every day. I need to thanks my tutors too for this because they used to explain it in the simple way so that I can get it easily and also other people when we worked together and they helped me with the things that I was struggled with, like when we used to do an assessment together they used to help me in their own way how to do a task that I didn’t know how to. Finally another way that helped me with my study was the online resources such as the blog we created about bookkeeping or GoConqr or AAT online test and Kahoot.

  1. This is an really good reflection on your learning this term, Moda. You have given examples of how you have used study skills to overcome problems in your learning. Learning the new vocabulary in accounting is a difficulty for all students new to the topic, so well done for managing it! There is now a glossary on Moodle which you can add words to, which will help develop your own, and other students' vocabulary. I look forward to seeing your contributions. I agree, the AAT online tests are great practice for the exams, and using GoConqr is another tool you can use to create vocabulary flashcards.. Have you tried making your own Kahoot quizzes yet?

You could improve the clarity of your writing by proof-reading carefully. Sometimes you have missed words out, and you need to be a bit more careful with your use of English grammar. Don't change this post, but next time try and improve your use grammar and punctuation in the next one.

I like the theme you have chosen, and adding the labels gadget will make it easier for you and others to find things in your blog. Well done.
